The portal opens on the levels you belong to, and your regiment tile is where your work lives. The TDA, personnel actions, the strength rollup, the activity calendar. Every tool here opens already bound to your regiment, so what you see is always your own slice of the chain. 0:37 A word about where a regiment fits. Not every chain has one. A battalion can report straight to a brigade, and in those chains the brigade covers this ground. Where a regiment does exist, you are the closest adult eyes above the battalions. That closeness is your value. You advise, you spot problems early, and you pass clean information up. 1:03 You see your regiment and the battalions under it. Nothing sideways, nothing above. Your brigade reads you exactly the way you read your battalions. Everything on this page is computed from what those battalions record. 1:19 The rollup is read only on purpose. You read the summed strength and activity numbers. You never retype them, and the system will not let you. When you spot a dip or a spike, your move is to ask the right battalion why, not to edit the figure. 1:37 When the numbers need a story, annotate. A note about a school break or a combined event saves your brigade a phone call, because they read this same rollup one level up. The note travels with the report. The figures stay untouched. 1:54 The TDA shows your regiment's slice of the adult manning table as a command tree. You can assign and relieve billets in the units below you. When a battalion in your chain needs a commandant, the word vacant is the control. Click it and type to pick the adult. If the seat is already held, the holder's name is the same control. The assignment itself is what grants their access. 2:21 Your own command billet is the exception. The regimental advisor position is manned from the brigade above you, so it renders with a lock here, not a clickable card. You man downward, never your own seat. Officer promotion endorsements are a brigade step, not a regiment step, so those packets pass through your brigade advisor's queue instead. 2:59 One habit to build. When a battalion's numbers look wrong, you do not fix them at your level, because you cannot. Every rollup on your dashboard is read only. The owning battalion's modules are the only write path in the system. Call the commandant, walk through it together, and let the corrected facts roll up on their own. That is the advising job done right.
